About The Department
For almost 100 years, we have been translating the unmet medical needs of people living with a serious chronic disease into innovative medicines and delivery systems, like our insulin pens. The Position
The role will be responsible for promotional material development for both HCPs (healthcare professionals) and patients, conceptualization and design of communication campaigns and inputs from the field as well as integration of materials in the brand multi-channel mix. The role is also expected to manage agency relationships to ensure projects are delivered to a clear brief and are on time/budget. The successful candidate will also be accountable for the preparation for annual brand plan as well as biannual plan of action
Other role task and responsibilities are as follows, but is not limited to:
* Plan and execute brand marketing plan and strategy in coordination with the other brand product managers
* Conducting field work for insight into activity / strategy implementation
* Conduct competitor and market analysis,
* Communication with sales team - Field communication, feedback and roll out of strategy
* Alignment of all tactics with our partner company
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree required
* Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required, ideally having worked in a brand team as well as other functional areas (public affairs, medical affairs, market access).
* Demonstrate ability to constructively challenge assumptions and directly influence others in a respectful manner.
* Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills, Good analytical and strategic skills
* Great communication & social skills in Japanese; strong presentation skills, English skills, written at least and verbal ideally
