Job Description The Product Manager will be a part of the Privacy Technology team which is responsible for day-to-day management and implementing and solutioning of new technology requirements to meet regulatory compliance while working across multiple stakeholders including development teams, vendors, internal business stakeholders and executive leadership. The key application this role will support is a SaaS application, OneTrust. The candidate will be expected to understand best practices in product management, consumer rights fulfillment and consent management technologies to assist in the development of a strategy-driven product roadmap. The Privacy regulatory environment is evolving, and this candidate is expected to maintain pulse on industry and technology trends to drive strategic direction in tool usage, improved user experience, simplified architecture, while ensuring a compliant and secure technology solution. The candidate will be required to build strong integration with multiple business partners ensuring risk management, status, issue mitigation and roadmap alignment. Requirements * Act as the central resource responsible for designing, developing, and managing activities from requirements elicitation and planning through production and release of new features, integration requests or feature updates * Lead the solutioning, design and oversee technical implementation across multiple business units * Establish development calendar and drive timely delivery * Set and clearly communicate development objectives, needs, and status of projects * Execute product roadmap working with multiple teams within NBCU business and with vendor * Provide strategic and tactical support advising business on technical solutions, product capabilities and ideal use cases when implementing Privacy product requirements * Document processes and workflows in shareable documents for future use and adoption * Lead business status update calls * Engage across functions with multiple stakeholders, translate requirements into well documented product features * Collaborate across teams and with architecture and solutions leaders, to identify the best technical solution for a feature or capability that meets the needs of the clients Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Product Management, or equivalent experience required Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience in the technology or media industry Minimum 3+ years of experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills Expertise in the SDLC process, with a focus on scoping, iteration planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, rollout management Experienced in implementing a SaaS solution Strong interpersonal skills exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project management, and strong formal presentation abilities Possess strong technical skills to manage and solve complex technical issues Self-starter to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge Exhibit collaboration and teamwork skills Onsite work location – New York, NY Willingness to work off business hours as needed in a demanding environment Ability to manage through competing/conflicting requests and obtain consensus Ability to overcome obstacles and develop resolutions to complex problems Ability to translate business process needs into clear technical requirements Ability to influence internal and external team members without direct reporting authority Desired Characteristics Experience within media entertainment industry Data Privacy experience, a bonus Experience with both vendor-managed and non vendor-managed solutions and third-party team resources Natural problem solver, who is adaptable in a fast-paced environment and is highly collaborative Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage own work as well as track the activities of others Strong character exhibiting company core values: Integrity, Creativity, Teamwork, Pioneering Spirit, Ownership Experience with using Jira or a similar system to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress Additional Information NBCUniversal's policy is to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender identity or expression, age, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, veteran status, membership in the uniformed services, genetic information, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
